| This contract was a huge undertaking
for a private home in Chelsea in 2003. We
were approached by the family following their
visit to an exhibition in 2002. Their brief
was to create a central piece for their sizeable
garden, where they could entertain in the
summer months. A pergola seemed the natural
choice and work began in Spring 2003 to be
completed for the summer. It is fully constructed
out of carbon steel with a glass roof. All
elements were hand forged on the anvil and
it took a team of fitters 2 weeks to complete
installation. Finished in matt black, it is
a stunning addition to a lovely garden. |
